The main requirement in this market is that the laminate flooring looks and feels good whilst being durable and easy to maintain. All our systems adhere to the typical norms like EN 13329 (taber abrasion) and EN 438-2 (scratch resistance, impact resistance, water immersion).

What TREFFERT can offer besides the regular PDL flooring programme are coating systems for specific surface properties, such as appearance and excellent haptics (3-D Spot pore). Our application know-how enables our customers to produce products according to their market needs, i.e. high- and low-end products. Producing laminate flooring in the PDL technology offers advantages against the classic DPL technology while technical properties are comparable. Main advantages are more flexibility and reduced working capital demand for the flooring producer (e.g. no stock for décor paper is needed). Also the production time is faster than the melamine technology and saves energy as it is a continuous production process.

However, should you wish to differentiate your melamine surface, we have a range of top finishes to provide that extra touch to your laminate floor making you stand out from the crowd. We are able to custom-design specific finishing solution to ensure you will have an exclusive differentiation factor in your market.
